Every student and advisor should work through the SES Agreement on Advisor-Advisee Relationship Expectations together.
Before you travel: do these first
Become an Authorized Driver. Required to drive NAU-rented vehicles or be reimbursed for personal vehicle mileage. Start at Environmental Health and Safety.
Annual Travel Certification (ATC). Mandatory for all NAU employees and students who travel, renewed every fiscal year (July 1 to June 30). Complete it in the ATC portal.
Travel Ticket. An approved Travel Ticket is required before making any travel arrangements. Coordinate with your advisor (or Janelle) on funding, then submit via the Travel Ticket portal.
Vehicle rentals. Consult your advisor about the payment method, then book through Fleet Services.
