Where you’ll learn
From campus you can reach desert, grassland, ponderosa forest, and alpine tundra within about an hour, one of the steepest ecological gradients in North America. Courses take advantage: stream ecology classes wade local creeks with nets and sensors, and field methods courses work the forests, springs, and canyons of the Colorado Plateau.
